2. How to approach the app

Thinking in “My Day”

CROSSNote is built around the idea of “My Day” as a central space where everything comes together. Instead of jumping between different tools, you interact with your day as a whole — seeing tasks, notes, and context in one place. The goal is not to manage separate systems, but to understand your day as a single, living unit.

Planning vs adapting

Planning is useful, but it is not fixed. CROSSNote is designed to help you adjust your day as it unfolds. If your energy changes, if something takes longer than expected, or if priorities shift, you are encouraged to adapt your plan instead of forcing yourself to follow it rigidly.

Working with energy, not against it

Your capacity is not constant throughout the day. CROSSNote helps you stay aware of your energy, focus, and stress so you can decide when to push forward and when to slow down. This reduces unnecessary overload and helps maintain a more sustainable rhythm.

When to use each part of the app

You don’t need to use everything at once. Different parts of CROSSNote support different moments:

  • Use My Day to see and navigate your current day

  • Use the + button to quickly capture anything that appears

  • Use Goals to stay connected to your direction

  • Use Health to understand your current condition

  • Use Library to organize and revisit your information

Over time, these parts connect naturally as part of your daily flow.
